Campsite reception
Our campsite near Le Puy-en-Velay welcomes you every day from early May to mid-September, on a vast 2-hectare site planted with trees. To offer you the best possible service, reception is open from 8:30am to 12pm and 2pm to 6:30pm in high season, and from 9am to 12pm and 3pm to 6pm in low season.
For your comfort and to ensure you have the best stay, you will find at the campsite reception :
- practical information;
- hiking trails (laminated card to borrow) ;
- a wealth of tourist information.
We are particularly attentive to respect for the planet: a space dedicated to selective sorting (glass, plastic, cardboard and household waste) is available on the campsite, as well as a compost area. Various facilities are available to encourage water and energy savings, for a greener vacation!
The snack bar in Vorey
For small and large appetites, our campsite offers a snack bar with take-away or on-site service.
Every day (except Wednesdays), from 3:00 pm, from July 8 to August 26, come and discover and taste snacking products, ice creams and waffles. On the menu: pizzas, burgers, fries, salads, hot dogs, nuggets, roast chicken (on-site rotisserie, by reservation three times a week), rib-eye steaks and more. The icing on the cake: everything is made on site! And all this under the pleasant covered terrace by the pool, or directly from the terrace of your chalet, mobile home, lodge tent or pitch.
Our snack bar is open from the first day of the summer vacations to the penultimate week of August, from 3pm to 9:30pm (except Wednesdays).
Our snack bar is the ideal place to enjoy anaperitif in the evening, but you can also prolong the pleasure with our themed meals, organized every Tuesday every other week. Alternate between our “Moules-Frites” and “Paella” evenings to enjoy a delicious meal in a convivial atmosphere!
Bread depot
To get your day off to a good start, our campsite offers a bread and pastry drop-off service during the summer months (except Tuesdays). Treat yourself to fresh, crisp baguettes, pains au chocolat and croissants before a morning dip in our lagoon pool or a day of sightseeing.
Don’t forget to reserve your bread and pastries at reception before 6.30pm the day before.
We lend you books and games
To keep you busy on rainy days or to enhance your reading time on our deckchairs, we’ve got it all covered!
Our campsite is also equipped with a TV room, which you can use throughout the summer vacations until the penultimate week of August, from 3 pm to 9:30 pm. You’ll also find plenty of board games (Master Mind, Monopoly, etc.) for everyone to enjoy at the reception desk.
And for avid readers, a library is also available on the same days and at the same times as reception. You’ll find everything from novels to thrillers and children’s books, in French and Dutch.
Finally, we lend you everything you need to make the most of our sports facilities: ping-pong rackets, boules, etc. In short, our campsite has everything you need to air out your suitcase!
Additional equipment
If you’d like to enjoy even more comfort during your stay at a campsite in Auvergne (accueil), you’ll love our facilities, available at extra cost.
Additional equipment includes :
- Disposable sheet kits at €14 per bed
- Baby kits at €20 per week, including high chair, cot and changing mat
- Table-top fridges at €5.50 per day or with freezer at €7.50 per day
And because you can’t do without grilling on vacation, we can lend you charcoal barbecues (availability subject to stock).
Laundry facilities in Vorey
Our Auvergne campsite has a laundry area to make your vacation easier and lighten your luggage. You’ll find a washing machine and tumble dryer (for a fee; the washing machine only works with “pods” (liquid doses) of detergent, at €1 each; tokens available at reception), as well as an iron and ironing board , free of charge.
Laundry facilities are available daily.
And to make your stay even more worry-free, we also lend you a vacuum cleaner for your housework.
Campsite close to shops
The campsite is less than 200 meters from the center of the village of Vorey-sur-Arzon. You’ll be close to all useful shops and servicesThese include: bakeries, patisseries, butchers, grocery stores, newsagents, wine cellars, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks, post office, health centers (doctors, nurses, dentists….), pharmacies, SNCF train station, hairdressers, beauticians, florists, hardware stores, household electrical goods stores, cinemas, media libraries and more. You’ll soon realize that Vorey is a dynamic, lively village!
In summer, the local farmers’ market (Wednesday evenings) and the weekly market (Sunday mornings) take place in the village square, just a few steps from the campsite! An opportunity to discover and taste all the delights of our region. We look forward to hearing from you…
